Player Bio

Born in Pakistan, Rohan Mustafa moved to UAE in his childhood days and started playing age-group cricket for the Sharjah Cricket Academy. At the tender age of 15, tragedy struck as his father died but he didn’t lose hope and kept playing cricket.

One of the most dynamic all-rounders, he is the current skipper of the UAE national team making his ODI debut against Scotland on February 1st, 2014 and a month later made his T20I debut against the Netherlands on March 17th. Selected to play in the inaugural edition of the Global T20 Canada League in 2019, he has made a name for himself in Franchise cricket all around the world.

A consistent performer for UAE in the limited-overs format, Rohan was named as the skipper of the Emirati side prior to the 2018 ICC World Cricket League Division two and two years later, he was one of the ten cricketers to be awarded a full-time contract by UAE in December 2020.
